Clover
CLAMP's, Clover manga series while not one of the most succesful series when compared to the popularity of Card Captor Sakura and Chobits still has a rather strong fanbase due it's darker nature and mature themes combined with it's futuristic magical world.
In the world of Clover, all magical beings have been tatooed depending on their magical level. The lowest are tatooed with a one leaf clover while the strongest (this includes the main character, Suu) are branded with a four leaf clover.
Tragedy and twists follow making this short but beautiful CLAMP manga series highly recommended.
Currently the entire manga series has been released in English with Clover #1 , Clover #2 , Clover #3 and Clover #4 all easily found.
