The opening for the
second season of xxxHolic has been announced and thankfully Suga Shikao who sang the themes for
the movie and
the first season is returning with a brand new hit due for release in Japan on the 14th of May called "Nobody Knows".
As with previous songs, Nobody Knows will be release in three different versions, a regular, CD + DVD set and a xxxHolic cover variant. Official information can be seen
on Sudga Shikao's official site.
Still no word on who will be singing the closing theme. Stay tuned!
In DVD news the second xxxHolic DVD,
xxxHolic: Second Collection has been given the release date of the 6th of May and is now up for
Pre Order at Amazon.com.

Just a quick note that the
Official Japanese xxxHolic Site has now completely revamped and confirms that the second season of the xxxHolic anime will indeed start airing in April. Still no specific date however.
With the upcoming second season here in Japan and the
region 1 xxxHolic DVDs starting release in March, xxxHolic news will be coming more and more frequent.

Quite a bit news today. The
official Japanese xxxHolic site has updated with a nice new image continuing the theme of connection between Watanuki, Domeki and Yuko.
There's also a mention of a xxxHolic event on the 15th of March in Shibuya which I may be able to go to! It's on a Saturday (got the day off) and after my pay day. Tickets go on sale the first of March, so wish me luck!

A BIG special thanks goes out to
Chibi Yuuto who posted how the second season of xxxHolic has been given a name, "XXXHOLiC◆継".
The kanji apparently translates as "continuation" or "succession".
Pretty cool, eh?
Note though, that when I start the episode guide for the second series I will be continuing the episode numbers started in the first season, not doing "xxxHolic Season 2 Episode 1".
Just so you know. ;)
